Waɗannan sabbin abubuwa suna nuna yuwuwar fasahar FGD don canza ayyukan masana'antu. Ta hanyar ɗaukar waɗannan tsare-tsaren, masana'antu za su iya cimma burin muhalli, haɓaka dawo da albarkatu, da haɓaka sakamakon tattalin arziki.


Tsarin lalata iskar gas yana ba da fa'idodi biyu ta hanyar haɗa sarrafa hayaƙi tare da dawo da albarkatu. Wadannan tsarin suna rage hayakin sulfur dioxide mai cutarwa yayin da suke mayar da sharar gida zuwa wasu abubuwa masu mahimmanci kamar gypsum da abubuwan da ba kasafai ba.
